I turn research into products and ideas into shipped software. Currently studying philosophy at King's College London, building Solace — an ADHD mental health app — and writing about AI governance and safety.
I'm Neve — a philosophy undergraduate at King's College London, founder of Solace, and someone who cares deeply about building technology that serves people well. I prototype fast to learn faster, and my work spans product management, UX/UI design, research, testing, and go-to-market strategy.
I'm particularly interested in AI safety and governance. I've completed LSE's Ethics of AI certification, written an academic paper on democratic failures around catastrophic AI risk, and I'm writing my dissertation arguing for dependent, functional legal personhood for AI under EU law.

A cross-platform mental health app using nervous system science to deliver personalised, in-the-moment regulation tools. Built end-to-end as a solo founder.
Social media creatives and campaign materials I designed for Solace's TikTok and Instagram.
Every stage required learning an entirely new discipline — from neuroscience to paid acquisition. Here's the roadmap from first idea to live product with paying users.
Months of research into autonomic nervous system science and existing interventions. Ran customer discovery interviews, surveyed ADHD communities, and mapped competitor landscapes. Identified the gap: no app offered in-the-moment, state-matched regulation tools for ADHD brains.
Designed the core intervention engine: a 7-state autonomic nervous system scale mapping users from "Collapsed" (shutdown/freeze) to "Overwhelmed" (fight-or-flight). Self-taught Figma for wireframes, user flows, and prototypes. Accessibility-first UX for ADHD minds — short interactions, clear visual hierarchy, minimal cognitive load.
Zero engineering budget — taught myself to build using layered AI workflows. GPT-4 and Claude for research synthesis and prompt engineering. Built 35+ interactive activities in Lovable. Created media in InVideo. Learned vibe coding across multiple AI tools. Developed the biometric HRV algorithm for real-time nervous system assessment via phone camera.
Structured alpha and beta testing with 45 testers (20 with ADHD). Worked with therapists to validate interventions and the autonomic model. Iterated on the state selector, activity flows, and onboarding. 89% reported relief within 5 minutes; 93% preferred Solace to competitors.
Full business plan: subscription model via RevenueCat. Researched demographics, TAM/SAM/SOM, unit economics, retention benchmarks. Mapped the monetisation funnel. Explored B2B opportunities with schools, universities, and corporate wellness programmes.
Launched on iOS and Android. Learned ASO from scratch — keywords, screenshots, descriptions, creative assets. Iterative creative testing drove store listing conversion improvements and visibility growth.
TikTok ad campaigns with iterative optimisation. Set up AI agents to schedule and post social media. Designed all creative assets. Built @officialsolaceapp on Instagram and TikTok. A/B tested creatives, copy, and targeting to drive down acquisition costs.
Built analytics tracking the full funnel: impression → page view → install → activation → retention → paid conversion. Monitored daily velocity, cohort retention, DAU/MAU, and ARPPU. Every decision data-driven — from which activities to prioritise to which creatives to scale.
My academic work sits at the intersection of philosophy, policy, and technology.
Built and shipped a live cross-platform MVP end-to-end. Owned product strategy, UX/UI, intervention design, testing, app store launch, analytics, and GTM across international audiences.
Cross-functional collaboration with design, data science, and product teams to improve dashboard usability (CSAT +12%). Strategic research, competitive benchmarking, and customer insight synthesis. Part-time, remote.
Designed and pitched a startup concept with GTM and pricing strategy. Awarded certification for clarity, creativity, and structured planning.
Weekly befriender to a newly arrived refugee in London. Designed a bilingual meeting plan and scheduling system achieving 100% attendance consistency within four weeks. Empathy, cross-cultural communication, and patience — building genuine trust with someone navigating an entirely unfamiliar system.
"She's capable, determined and great fun. I couldn't recommend her highly enough."
